Hey guys, I'm looking for a SYE for a BW1356. Where I come from there are no pick & pulls of any kind so You are looking at crazy prices for anything. I did see an ad for a place called driveshaftsuperstore and they had a BW1356 SYE. Anyone know anything about it?

The BW1356 that was in 92-96 broncos were non slip yoke, if you can find one of those you would be good to go, if not you might be able to get the parts new from a parts store or drivetrian shop that deals in borge warner parts.

time to head to the junkyards...they are out there..
I think all Broncos were fixed yoke or flange. My '90 certainly was, so that rules out just '92-96. If it had the E4OD (starting in '90 or late '89) there's virtually no way you'd fit a slip yoke in there; my rear driveline is 24" long - that's into TJ territory.
But yeah, don't pay for anybody marketing an "SYE" for a 1356. It's factory shit.

Sorry for the noob-ish question here, but is is possible to adapt an electric-shift bronco case to a manual-shifting case?
Only 1356 bronco cases I've seen at the yards around here have all been push-button engage style cases, which I'm not a fan of giving up my manual-shift...

The one we installed in the truggy is a manual shift out of a baseline (XL) bronco, so they are out there aswell.

If you're looking to build a fixed yoke 1356, you can use an electric BKO case as a parts donor and mix and and match to build a manual shift fixed yoke case out of it and a manual shift slip yoke one.
