i do need some warm weather. its been single digits for a week here.

Can we talk about your soft top? custom made? boat shop? looks awesome and I could get mine in the garage if I eliminated the soft top bows.

yeah what do you want to know about the top. I had it made at a local boat canvas shop. I used a material called Top Gun. I got some aluminium channel for the windshield frame and then made my own channel for the tub out of 1x1 angle alluminium. top just rests on the cage and i have velcro straps that tie it down inside to help from lifting while towing.

i hate the idea of a year off wheeling. And endless nights in the barn. but If i can get enough cash for it i will be able to build the new idea.

we made it back to michigan. 36.5 hours of straight driving. best wheeling trip of my life. full of personal victories. my rig survived wheeling out west for a week with no breakage. With 2 cut tires, 3 electrical issues, overheat and transmission failure we still finished all 135miles of KOH 2010 in 39th place. met alot of new friends as well. cant wait to see everyone next year

It was great meeting you. Good job on the finish. When I saw the driver out at mile 1 or 2 I thought that aint good. Nice work getting it going again!
