I’ve done a lot of searching on this and there are conflicting statements, one guy says you can, another says you can’t… I’m guessing that’s because there are so many different axle combinations. I don’t want to lay out a lot of money for rims and find out they won’t fit, so here’s my “vehicle specific” question.
I have a 1984 ex-military one ton 4-wheel drive, Dana 60 front, Dana 70HD dually rear. I would like to run single rear wheels and 37” tires.
From what I’ve read, stock H1 Hummer 8-lug bead-locks will bolt right on the dually rear, correct?
As for the front end, will bead-locks bolt on also, or do I need to have the centers enlarged to accept the axle/front locking hubs?
Assuming I get bead-locks and 37s on the front, any issues with steering components/tie rod ends?
Thanks for your replies.

Thanks Gassman, that's what I needed to know. Are you running them on the street? I've heard they're not legal but yet they're supposedly stamped "DOT Approved" so I'm thinking it's not likely to be an issue.

If you're running a drw D60 up front your front tires will stick out alot further than the rear unless you use spacers or swap some 14b srw hubs on the D70. Just an fyi.
And the H1's have a DOT stamp on them, they also have "For Military Use Only" stamped on them as well.

Military H1 12 bolt beadlock wheels are the same as civilian H1 12 bolt beadlock wheels.
Here is my 1986 K30 with a dually Dana 60 front and a 73" wide dually Dana 70 rear and civilian street legal 12 bolt H1s. The rear hubs will stick out.

you did not say if the d60 front was a dually d60 or srw.
h1's WILL NOT bolt on to a srw front, you need a minimum of a 1.75" spacer to clear the cast tierod ends.
to run h1's the right way you need to.....
drw d60 front. will work out perfet with the stock deep offset of the h1's
a drw d70/14bff hybrid. the drw d70 is only 72" wide, it will work but your rears will be noticably narrower than the front, 5".
get the 14bff srw wheel hubs. disc brake stuff and any rebuild parts like bearings and seals. remove the hubs from the d70 and all the brakes, save the shafts. put the disc brake shit on and install the srw hubs on the d70. now your rear is 77" wide and exactly the same as the front.
i found some beefy 4" rear wheel spacers and it makes it 1" narrower over all.
ill post a pic tommorow of my h1 setup with my new 37"s
