I am building a 75 k-5 and I am just getting started But I am wondering if it is worth the money to put a locker in it and will it handle 37" tires?:)

I would not spend the money on the 12 bolt running 37's unless you are really easy on the skinny pedal. I broke the one in a blazer i used to have with a stock 400 small block and 31's.

I'd go with a 14BFF right now, you can get them for around $200, have a Detroit that you can install yourself. Do it right the first time, I've broken 3 12 bolts over the years from just normal driving (of course 36+ inch tires helped it along) and there is nothing like a 14B.

For about the price of a detroit in the 12 bolt. You can get a 14 bolt and a Detroit for it. Just do it now and save the money and the headache.
