Hey all -
I am going to buy some custom wheels on Monday. The Wheels of Steel looks like a pretty good deal, but I am wondering if anyone has ever done US Wheels thru Summit? I can save some money, but I will have to paint tghem (minor PITA).
I talked to US WHeel, and they are super helpful. My understanding is I have to get the right person on the line at Summit or they will be clueless.
Anyone on the board ever do it? Delivery time? Mistakes etc??? Did you have them drop shipped? extra freight charges etc?
And yes BTW I did do a search :flipoff2:
TIA

I just got off the phone with summit checking my part # and sales man thesales man was Harry ext.6731 the part# was usw-70-15x10-cust they said if you want a custom back space check with us wheel first and see if they make and if there parts are avalable then call back summit with your order.mine took about a week for everything. and were around the same price as a noncustom wheel(not much more but dont remember exactly).
I painted mine with rustoleum hammer tough paint and just finnished mounting my 42s on them.
hope this helps

My experience w/these guys was smooth. They just pick 'em up at the US Wheel plant and ship to you.
