what vehicle's come factory with 760x u-joints? the parts store guy says he needs the vehicle application. :mad3: I think hes too lazy or stupid to look up a p/n.

Just buy Spicer 760 joints,it's clearly labeled as such on the box.

297/760's are stock for all 1/2-3/4t chevys from 73-91

first off what are they going on. type of wheeler? tire size. I have a buddy with 37" red's and he breaks spicers. I run 39.5" with full chromoly axles with 300M ujoints. either way D44 is a D44.spicers are cheap and if your hard on the skinny you'll breakem. good luck

297 and 760 are the same except 760's are cold forged i think, making them slightly tougher so you will have to find a place that sells spicer to capitalize on that different manufacturing process. 04-06 rubicon uses them older tj and yj were just the 297's

I guess you'll learn your lesson...eventually do it right the first time don't settle just to get it going trust me. gets very expensive ask me how I know!:grinpimp:
