I bought some GM 2.5 ton axles from a buddy of mine that took them out of a Ford pull truck. i do not know what transmission or transfer case was used, but will the rotation of a ford transfer case work with that front axle? and does anyone have pictures or links or ideas how to hook up a set of brakes to these things? thank you

GM 2.5's tons are the ones that spin back wards right?
You might want to get a pic of the axles and post in General 4x4 tech.

Unless your buddy was running a 2.5 ton transfer case, he already flipped the front to work with standard transfer case rotation.

If it is set up as a low pinion (like a ford 9 in. ) the rotation will be right for Ford transfercase. What are your plans for this running gear ? off-road only make a pinion brake.

i double checked the axles and the rotation is perfect. i decided im going to put them under my 1994 Dodge ram 1500 with chevy 12" springs and some custom mounting. The dodge is also drivers side drop with correct rotation. i just dont know how to set up a pinion brake. i know they have them for rockwells
