The Cable Shifter Box is independant of the transfer case, coupled via the
cables. This allows the user to mount the shifter box wherever required,
on the floor, in a console, or even on the dash. When mounted flush, the

We use some of the toughest, high quality push/pull cables availible.
Rated to 230/350lbs of input force, and temperature rated from
-65F to 230F degrees, these are designed to handle the toughest
conditions. The cables are pre-permanintly lubricated, sealed with a
floating wiper seal.

Would the reverse kit allow me to basically flip the case to driver drop? No need to modify the case? My fab skills aren't the greatest but I don't want to pay $600 for something like the Down East kit especially if this would do the same thing. Thanks!

Even without the reverse kit people have been running dana 300's upside down for a while now. There are a few companies that make shifters for a flipped 300. The DEO kit is not necessary.

Actually I am tired of searching and need to make a decision. :D The DEO kit looks great but is expensive and the $20 flip is vague and likely beyond my fab skills. I am just wondering if these shifters will work better than say the D&D ones and avoid leaking at the shift rails, etc...also would it be worth buying the Novak flip ring if I run these shifters?

I'm running a doubler so all I did was flip the whole thing upside down and enlarged a few holes on the back of the AX15 for the 231 to bolt up to. My 300 is upside down and no leaks. Not really sure what all you need for the 300. I know you need some sort of spacer ring in there.

231/D300 kits are $369 for standard D300 kit + universal brackets for the 231. You will have to drill a new hole in the 231 rocker arm.

The reverse kit takes care of the shifting a flipped D300. With new or good condition shift rail seals you should not have a problem with leaks.

Beyond the shifters you need to mount to the tranmission adaptor, flip rings are availible through quite a few vendors (we will have some in the future) and change you fill/drain points and breather fittings.

Not screwed, you just need the R-A-C bracket kit, it is $69 with the shift rail adaptors.

I have a np205 currently but thinking about going to a dana 300 and I want to do cable shifters on whichever I choose. Looking at it though it looks like its going to be really tight with that bracket.

I can do brackets for the 203. I can do a 'universal' type kit, but I dont have any brackets that will fit a LC T case, you'd have to do some basic fabbing.

It won't work any magic inside the T case if you are having existing problems. We are uploading PDF install instructions to the tech section of our website for the kits over the next week and a half.

Looking under my Jeep yesterday it seems like it must be more than 1" of throw at the rail.

They said they were waiting on a stock order of push-pull cables: should be 1-2 weeks.
Hopefully I get mine before our Winter on the Rocks event in St. George Feb 18th ;)

It is less than 1"

The rail takes 0.875" to move from the low range detent to the high range detent.

We have more parts arriving today and tomorrow to fill the order, it should be out by the end of the week.

The Dana 20 requires more throw to shift than the Dana 300, it will bolt on but most likely will not shift it.

Got my shifters all bolted in today. For my atlas 4sp with NWF Shifters. Thought I would share this little bracket I added to mine. Gave me way more options for mounting. Plus all the shifters shift the same way now. Meaning that when they are all in low they are all down instead of the 4sp being fwd.

I would really like to locate the 2 stick shifter in the stock tranfercase shifter hole.

I can fab up the transfer case side cable housing brackets/ arm levers. I just really need the console shifters/ cables/ shift boots ect.

The Cables we use are not strong enough to shift a NP205 as a single, there is far to much force required to shift an NP205.

The D300 (as well as the NP205) require to much force to shift for a single cable. We could get a bigger cable but the cost is not worth it, its easier to twin stick.

Changed my mind on the D300 and am going Atlas instead. I've got your cable shifter for a D300 now. Just wondering if it will adapt to the Atlas or not...If so what will I need to do the conversion (if anything).

231/D300 kits are $369 for standard D300 kit + universal brackets for the 231. You will have to drill a new hole in the 231 rocker arm.

I know that there a several different variations out there j-truck, waggys, and others(long shafts or shorts). does your kit work with them all? If not how can i tell for sure which box he has. also are you willing to ship USPS to a military APO address 34042. thanks, joe.

The 300 Shifter has to be reverse becasuse with the standard shifter there would be clearance issues with the range box.

That is not an NP205, Looks to be an NP200. So our shifter kit will not work with your T-Case.

It could also be a Dana 24, judging by the output shafts, but never the less, yes it seems that way. An NP205 looks very different the main difference is the course spline output shafts, the NP205 will have 32 Fine Spline.
