I'm about 99% sure I'm going to do this pretty soon.

Is there anything I need to look out for?

Any pics of what you did with the stock gas tank? I talked to a few that have done this and that cut the floor out and put it above the axle. This is definately a possibility and I would just have to make a sheetmetal cover for it.

I plan on doing it like the suburbans in these pics. Shortsub I hope you don't mind me using your pics, I uploaded them into my tinypic so I didn't use your bandwidth.

I change my mind all of the time but have always liked this

I would convert my barn doors to a tailgate at the same time too.

As for the gas tank, fuel cell anywhere in bed or truck saddle tanks.

Ya I like that burb too and I did a similar thing to that as I chopped the back off and moved the tailgate up so I could keep the roll down window in the back(and it helps so much with no A/C)

and it actually made a good tailgate truck:grinpimp:

What are you doing for your gas tank? were you able to move it foreward or are you going to have a fuel cell in the bed?
