I'm looking to run 3/4 ton tre's on the dana 44 thats replacing my busted 30. Is there an easy way to do this. The axle i'm using is a waggy dana 44. I'm keeping it spring under. it has a 3.5" suspension lift with cut fenders running 33's but soon to be 37's. Ive been looking into hi steer but. I'm thinking i might run into a problem with the drag link hitting the frame at full stuff. I looking for info on the best way to upgrade the steering since i have to buy all new tre's any ways. I sould mention my jeep is a 95yj.

So what's the question?

An easy way to do what?

It's not like the TRE's aren't compatible with the knuckles, so you must be asking about the interference problem.

The answer is High steer and high steer arms on flattop knuckles usually.

The question is could i run the set up above sua with 3.5" of lift with out worring about drag link hitting the frame at full stuff. I'd like to hear from people running a similar set up.

Why not just run the stock tierod and draglink from the waggy. They will be an upgrade from a D30 any way. And the tierod on waggy 44 sit on top of the knuckle any versus the D30 sitting below the knuckle. If you run high steer and it looks like the tierods going to hit the frame. Just lower your bumpstops and you'll be fine.:D
