I spotted this rig in Clayton several months back. It appears to be a stepvan body setting on a truck frame, Has anyone else ever seen this rig or have any info. on it? I really liked it, it is a perfect mix between a school bus and a Prevost.

I think it's pretty cool, but I don't see the Prevost comparison.

Take one wrecked Peterbilt add a Ex Snap-On van and you have a poor mans Prevost, For the guy who has more time than money.

I like the big rig roof faring that he has turned into a shield on the trailer. This guy has been around a few trucks, ya think?

Very common conversion do a search for super c motorhomes you will find frieghtliners, peterbilts and volvo conversions

Most use the whole semi truck cab, and add the box on behind that. This guy did nice job of grafting just the Pete cowl/hood forward onto the step van. Different, and very nicely done !!
Lots of "super C's" as you call them, at truck and tractor pulls, many teams use them for transport/living in while pulling large trailers with their pulling rig(s) in.

very cool rig, but not sure how practical it would be for many wheelers. it appears lowered. how tall does it sit at ride height?
just doesn't seem like it would have much GC to get in and out of many places.

I have seen the trailer and Jeep previously, the reasoning for the faring on the trailer is because he was using a 1/2 ton to pull with. Looks like he moved on up to a big rig. That is Oklahoma Green beside him and he is from Blackwell, Ok. Thats all the info I can offer up. Hope it helps.
could be air ride with the bags dumped.

Looks to be correct Tink!
Also a neat thing about doing the conversion this way, lots more "cab room".
Pete's and KW's are a tad "snug" for moving around in while moving. Freightliners and Volvo's and IH trucks have more roomy cabs.
Can't beat a Pete or KW for quality.
