Anyone know if the Goodyear wrangler MT tire (not MT/R), like off an h1 hummer, came in any other size than 37", and if so where to buy them???

At one time, they were made in 33X12.50R15, but I don't
think that one is available now. If you're looking for a specific

10 years ago I tried to replace a couple of the 31x10.5-15 GY MT's I was running (same tread as the Hummer MT's), and my tire guy got 'zip' on a nationwide tire search.

I doubt you'll have much luck finding anything other than the Hummer sizes today.


FWIW, great tires, decent in mud (for a 'street tire'), great ride, not too noisy, but paper thin sidewalls (atleast the non Hummer ones).

Was looking for a set of 31's for the 85 extra cab I just picked up. If I cant find the MT's I'll probably go with a set of of BFG all terrains.

I bought the truck with a 5 inch lift and stock size tires, looks way weird... BTW anyone know the minimum amount of lift needed to clear 31's on an 85? I am going to ditch the downy springs on it now and go with a new set of Alcans.

My vendor does not list the "old" style MTR, Have you looked at the
new "duratrac" wrangler? (G/Y part #312007027) it's the closest
tread that I have found to the old MTR...
