9V not related but i gots a Q for ya, i have a chance to pick-up an 88 rangie for $2500, its looks good cosmetically but the guy said it needs some work, said it ran good when he drove it all the time but then it quit running, last tags in '00, what do you think? good deal??, i know it could be simple or real spendy, i dont want real spendy right now.

Actually... I have a friend w/ a Land Cruiser who had a cage like this. He ended up cutting it off cuz it was too heavy, FWIW.
I wouldn't recommend putting your groceries on the hood:eek:

rhino- main issue is to check for rust. once these things get started rusting they just wont quit. look at the rockers, the footwells, the floors, and the bodyshell in general. if it has no rust and just doesnt run, its a good deal. mechanical issues are typically pretty easy to sort out on these trucks, but you need a working knowledge of lucas electrics :flipoff2: PM me with any more questions.
and for the rest of you saying why? well like i said thats just a truck i stole pictures of off ebay, the real range rover that it would be going on is this one :flipoff2:
