Remmy 700 30-06. Guy localy had it for $350 including Leupold rings and Bases. Heck, I can not find a remmy action alone for under 400.

Brought it home for one of my boys and first load I tried was 51 gr Varget under 150 Hornady SST. 3 Shots to get on target and then the 5/8 group! I think we will keep it...

The .30 cal 150 gr sst is the most accurate and deadly 150 grain .30 cal hunting bullet I have ever shot. It groups like a Amax and kills like a 180 grainer . Nice buy and a nice group.

Do you always use your couch for a back-stop?

 Only when It is dark outside or I am in a hurry...

Oh, it was 100 yards. We are going to try to shoot 350 yards today if the weather holds. Got to go to the local gunshop and pick up some more powder.

Going to try some Reloader 17. It is supposed to push a 150 grain 30-06 load to nearly 3100 FPS with nearly the same pressure as other powders...

Check your hornady manual for a loading with RL-22.

I'm loading my hunting buddy's 25-06 with RL-22, and the results are amazing. When he gets his head out of his ass and actually shoots right, that gun is shooting 1/2" groups all day long.
