Painted the front of the box. We had to pull the box off to mount the fuel tanks and while it was off I painted the front of the box.
I'll have the box and cab re-sprayed, but the area directly behind the cab bulkhead would be a pain, so I thought I'd spray it while the box was off.
I got waaaaaay fumigated and ended up having a headache for 2 days. Ugh.

The tunnel cover and seat rails are integrated into one piece. Bolts to the bulkhead and the T-frames and to the floor. Very nice piece. It'll be Rhinolined inside and out for sound proofing.
Corbeau seats mounted on sliding rails give a MUCH better seating position than stock Defender, so the flat floor and seat rails are paying off.

Respirator?????
Hmmm, it got left in Portland! Doh!
I was too cheap/stupid to get another one the day I was painting, so I have to learn to accept diminished brain function (it'll be tough) and the ensueing headache.
Thanks for the pointer though! :flipoff2:
Good luck on the little'un.
Paso Robles schedule is to drive it to Vegas in 3 weeks. Woo HOOOOO!
Anyone want to caravan? If not (I don't expect anyone to *really* want to) I'll drive over with a friend and caravan back. I don't want to go solo for it's maiden voyage.

There's more to come in my engine bay. Heater, ducting, A/C lines, winch contactor pack, yadda yadda yadda....
If you like the 350 in the crewcab then you might get a kick out of this conversion.
