Aren't you worried about hitting something with it mounted that low?
Looks like there'd be enough room to put it in line with the tie-rod. 'Course, I might be lookin' at the pic wrong too.

Well it is above the bottom of the axle tube so it is not a low point, I do need to make some sort of protection for it... I already have a guard for the hydro line on the front of the box..

That's how I have mine mounted. The only thing on your's I'd worry about is the way the line is routed through the shackle. It seems the movement of the shackle would eventually wear through the line.

or you would pull up and bump a rock, cutting the line. But, if it works it works. Does anyone have pics with hummer wheel setups?

Well no movement there because of the SRS, but the line is no longer run that way, that was done because of a fitting clocking problem, it is now fixed and out of harms way...

Mine is mounted like TPIJeep's pic, except I've got a 1.75 x 0.375 DOM tie rod in front to help protect it. I was actually going to go high steer, but mounting the ram up top was going to be too much of a pain. Steve Fox on CK5 went through it and I just decided it was not worth the work, $$$, and the associated problems (putting extra stress on the TREs due to increased leverage over stock). So, I kept the tie rod low and beefed it up to handle the punishment and protect the ram...
