Mine was pretty damn clean when I got it, truck came from cali originally :shaking:

This is a spot on the frame where a heat shield used to bolt. The damn thing let sand and salt and water get between it and the frame and just rusted the bitch out. You can see one of the captive nuts inside the frame where the heatshield bolted in the lower left part of the cutout area in the top pic

'63 Scout that has seen a road since '75. Ive got rust 11" up on the passenger quarter. It makes for a lighter rig though. Plus with the floors gone, its easier to run brake/fuel lines:homer:
