raced my first collegate race today, mostly Big 12 Schools, placed 6th out of 19 with only 63 seconds between me and 3rd place, pretty excited, amazing experience, pushing your body to it's limits, not bad for my first race, didn't get to pre ride the trail, needed to shit, and had a full bladder the whole time, (came on kinda sudden at the start line with under 2 minutes to start)

I'm ready for more.....

Sweet, last year my firends ran into yalls team down at a state park alittle south of Fort Worth. Said yall where all decked out in the school jersies and everything. I wish my school had a bike club or anything like it, me and my roomates have thought about staritng one but we only have like 1 year left after this and it would take amost all of this year to get it started wtih members and get it to become a real school org. so we could get sponcered and eveything.

i had my first today at stanford.

got 12th out of 33 in c's AND i lost my water on the downhill so i was dyin. was 7th at start of last hill hehe.

if your in california come to the parkfield classic this weekend. it is our home race (CPSLO) and it is a blast. cool dual slalom course, the downhill is FAST, kinda boring xc race. and there is a big bbq and party on saturday.

Where was the Stanford race held anyway? I don't remember Stanford University having any trails... for bikes at least.

it was at santa teresa park south of san jose. the dh was the rocky ridge trail (kinda flat LOTs of pedaling). the xc was riding up the fireroad to rocky ridge, riding down, crossing the creek, riding up the switchbacks and then back down to the parking lot area.

is anyone gonna be at parkfield this weekend. HUGE race its gonna be dope.
