Why would you wanna do that? The push-button stuff is awesome and never fails  :shaking: :barf: :nuke:

Ahhhhhhhhh, ok seriously, TTBOMK you'll need a new manual 'case. The case itself is different externally.

D60 is right, the cases are totally different. If you will read my post farther down the page, you will see i am facing the same issue, although i am going to swap a 1345 case in, you can find them a little cheaper, and they are all manual shift.

The 1356 electric shift can be converted to manual.
Here is a link

This is a good site, but the swap showed makes no sense if you have to find a manual case anyway. You still need to find the manual case, and the only reason i can see this swap making sense is for the output shaft.

I agree..course if you already have a 1356 and you go buy a 1345 you now had to buy another transfer case as well eh?

And manual 1356's are everywhere here...course that may not be the case in yr area obviously. You could always use a 205, they bolt in basically.

You are correct, but the difference is , if i have to buy another case, i sure as hell dont want to have to break both of them down.

As for the 1345, i would much rather have a 1356, but i can find none locally, but i have run across several 1345's

And finally, I do not want an np205, as i dont want the weight, and i really dont want the shitty low range.
