Piece of piss.

I've got one, made a fancy mount for it too. It's in my *92* thread.

It's easy.

And I know you can get a Dodge cheap(when you can find them) but it has some big ugly castings on it for mounting, mine's clocked flat, and uses way less room.

Thanks spidr! nice build man. now i need to track down a divorced ford/dodge 205 on the cheep.

Fords are easier to find, but if you can't, you can find the input shaft at most trans/t-case rebuilders, and I used a rear bearing reatainer.

Ok, so I just need to track down an input shaft and splin match out put yoke from a divorced 205, and I can use a bearing retainer from the rear of another chevy 205 correct?

Yup. The input is a 32 spline, same as your rear. Same as an atlas, etc. I swapped a 32 spline front at the same time since I had one, so mine is 32 spline on all 3 and the yokes interchange. I'm pulling it out of the 92 to go into my 3+3, if you need any more info, just let me know, and I can take some better pics while it's out.

if you build your own mount, its very simple to clock a divorced case

also, the dodge case is fine, its the ford one thats ugly as hell

Found my divorced Dodge unit on a '71 3/4 ton pickup in a local wrecking yard. They're 32 spline, stock. The only drawback was it had the lame strap yokes on it.

yokes are cheap enough, i upgraded all mine to 1350, my understanding is that the dodge ones were 32 spline, but mixed in or somthing on a table thought to be a 'dodge' case is the IH case, which is 10 spline

i got my yokes from tellico 4x4 .com or somthing like that
