Beast40 10-07-2002, 12:52 PM I want to regear a 1997 F150 with the 4.6L and a manual trans to get more power. Which companies should I look at? Which axles do I have? Looks like an 8.8 rear but what about the front? Not many traction aids available for them, either. Chris85 10-10-2002, 12:56 AM the 9.25 came out in 97. u can find them under some trucks and expedition with 5.4 motors. our 97 expedition with a 5.4L motor has a 9.25 rear end. | |
