What product would be best for cleaning a stepper motor? I removed mine seeing as I had a fault code for it. It is dirty and the pin will not move. Seeing as there is a spring should the pin not retract back into the stepper housing? Also I have a question about clearing the codes on the led readout. The instruction I have for doing this states "Disconnect serial link mating plug" sorry to sound ignorant but is this teh plug that plugs into the led readout box? Thanks for any help just found this forum and must say it seems like a great bunch of LR users here.

carb cleaner works fine, sorry I don't do OBDI

should just be able to disconnect the battery for ten to 30 sec and the code should clear if you have fixed the fault
