: Drive line question

So when I bought my K5 it didn't come with a front drive line. It is a 90 or 91 with a small block and 700R4. I am guessing a 241 t-case (maybe a 208). The front end is a 60. Aside from a drive line out of something with the same setup which is going to be hard as hell to find, are there any other applications that will work? I don't have the coin to buy a new aftermarket drive shaft. Is there any chance that the shaft is common between the D44 or 10 bolt trucks? I'd really like to have something that has a little extra length over stock since the guy said the factory one was just a little too short. Thoughts?

put on the stocker shaft....... measure how short is too short...... go to ur local supply store....buy some longer tubing and weld the ends from the stock shaft on to that new tubing...have a shop balance them and ur done....not a big deal.....
