I expect there'll be plenty of old timers plus plenty of first time visitors to Farmington's infamous Chokechery canyon this next weekend for the Super Crawl.

So, just to wet your appetite, here's a pic I took just this Sunday at one of our tamer climbs during the local Rock Garden Clubs "fun" fest.
Just every ole' day stuff ... :flipoff2:

Spencer gett'in it during the best time 'king 'o da hill' contest ...

... so be there, or be square. :(
Come on down!
See ya ...

How about some accurate directions to the Glade. I tried to give directions to some people but it's hard not knowing the street names. Butler- Glade- Pinon Hills sound familiar though. :rasta:

OK, here's a map to Choke Cherry Canyon ...

Choke Cherry Canyon Map (http://www.monsterslayer.com/jeep/ChokeCherryMap.htm)

Over all print size is 22" X 19"
Sorry, but if I made it small enough to print on one page you wouldn't be able to read it.:p
If you want to take a copy along, suggest you crop into four quadrants then tape together.

This is another dumb newbie question, but I might as well ask. Are four wheelers aloud, on the roads of course? I am working as gopher for a buddy in the comp, and I would hate to haul it down there if I can't use it.

thanks

Sure, bring yer junk!
The area is criss-crossed with oilfield and off-road trails.
And it is on Public BLM land so you can go anywhere you want, any time you want.
Plus, wheelers get the best parking spaces!:flipoff2:
Just keep in mind what Moab Ausin said ... please try to stay off the shrubery.
Chances any where you want to go, there is already a trail or two you can follow to get you there.
There are quite a number of major playgrounds and past ARCA/RCAA competition sites within a stone's throw of each other in the same general area that this meet will be held in.

*** PSSST *** Rumor has it the SCrawl will be up the glade a bit from last year's event.
