Anyone have pictures of their saginaw pump bracket and alternator bracket? I am planning on moving my alternator to the passenger side and could use some ideas. I have read everything on ih8mud.com and it has been very helpful, but no clear pictures of brackets. Thanks in advance.

Is this on an F or 2F motor? Is so use the factory 2F alternator bracket, I just put one on my 1974 F motor and all it took was a smaller belt.

I went through the same thing this past sping. I decided to move the alternator and add an York air system at the same time. Check out this link http://www.kccruisers.com/york/york.htm[/URL] for more info on this process. The link is to a shop that makes the bracket to no only relocate the alt, but to also add the York compressor. I am using it and it looks and works real nice.

Thanks for the link Randy!! Great gouge! I'm about to do the same in my 40 in the month or two, once I get my motor dropped back in, and I forgot about the KC Cruisers site!!

Oh, and welcome Newbie!!:flipoff2:

It has the F, although within a couple of years (maybe sooner) I will be dropping a v8 in so I don't want to invest a ton of money into buying the brackets. I just need some ideas on where to start. Thanks again, the links are excellent.

I found this on e-bay. It wont help with the Saginaw pump, but it will move your alternator to the passenger side. It came off a 2F engine and the price is very "right". Hope this helps.
