I'm looking for some weld in reinforcing rings or bead lock kit for some steel wheels. Does anyone know a good place to source these? I've even been considering designing my own ring and contact a shop to cut them out. I've never had good luck with aluminum wheels and I'm cheap.:flipoff2:

What size wheel?

12" front 10" rear, but I'm probably going to a 12" rear for available tire size.

Stuan makes a 12' beadlock. It wont make the rim stronger but it will absorb hits if you bottom out the tire.

The Stuan looks good, but I really need a reinforcing ring as opposed to an internal beadlock. Here's something I drew up I'm thinking 3/16" should be good for an ATV wheel, maybe bump it up to 1/4"? Front is for a 12" wheel, rear is for a 10" wheel.

I am going to have some of these made, I had heard a nasty rumor that it creates a pinch point for the tires though? Anyone have any experience with these?

Maybe as a beadlock, but these would fit inside the lip of the wheel.
