Why is the IH board so quiet today, everyone busy looking for replacement parts after wheeling this weekend. Thanks to a bunch of other guys I was able to build up the square drive shaft for my trip to the Rubi.
Square DS (http://www.pirate4x4.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=10&t=013363)
I think I found my 6 spline T98 main shaft. I will be building my Frank-N-Tranny Parts include:
IH T-18 Case, and D20 adapter
IH T-18 Top plate
IH T-98 Input shaft
T-98 six spline 4wd main shaft, don't know where it came from
Ford T-98 Internals, gears etc.
T-18 internals (only if in better condition than the T-98 and swappable)
I will wind up with T-98 (6.4:1 First) gearing, in a IH case, with the long IH input shaft, mated to a D20 twin stick case. Wild huh?

Do you have a body lift? The new joint may be as flexible as the old, or the shaft is now further in then before. You may also want to lossen the column and push forward to force a better angle.

No, no body lift(atleast yet). Got tired of screwing with it so Ilet the guys at C&W deal with it. Theyre great down there and know everything that their possibly is to know about Scout and IH trucks. If they cant figure it out, then I'm SCREWED!!
