Common problem, yup, the rear output seal is bad, I don't reacall how easy it is to change in the vehicle, I haven't had an auto trans in many moons.

Seal can be had at local auto parts store. Very common item. As for changing in chassis, it's not too bad. Biggest pains are dropping the transfer case and getting to old seal out.

On my 350/205 the oring on the output shaft was bad... 10 cent part and a two to four hour job to replace. I wnt ahead and replaced the seals in the adapter while I was there :p
