I'd like to hear from your experience …..
I have two engines one is a complete 88 GM 350 TBI which was installed in a GMC Van Pathfinder.
The second one is a 94 Camero's engine 350's, LT1 with Aluminum heads, but with out the injection system ,intake manifold , distributor ,wire harnesses , water pump etc
Both two need overhaul , and the main idea was to buy new performance parts from PAW or Summit – and one of them will find his way into my new rockbuggy .

Now – taking the heads from the LT1 and install them onto my GMC engine is not recommended because of their reverse flow cooling – it won't suit the GMC block.
But to enhance the power of the GMC engine look's easier then to enhance the LT1 .

What do you think ?
Thanks

I'd run the TBI. LT1's more engine than most rockcrawlers ever need.

Hmmm. I'd probably run the 88 with TPI on it. Oh wait, I am! :D

The LT1 is rumored to have optical distributor issues with something that sees off road use.

Search on it, you may come up with something.

Go with the TBI. OptiSpark sucks.
