Not tech but.....
I took my flywheel in to ITP to drop it off for surfacing. The guys picked it up and wisked it away to the back room and tells me to have seat... it'll be done in about 15 minutes. So while I'm sitting there, in walks my normal counter guys with a bunch of stuff in his arms. I jokingly ask him, "what did you bring me?", and without batting an eye he replies, "it's in the back of my truck. Let 's go take a look."
We walk outside and he has a T19 wide minus the top cover and mainshaft and says it's mine if I want it!! Then to top things off, he doesn't have the pilot bearing in stock and says he would have to order it from the store in Texas. Then he jumps on the phone and calls a competitor down the street and picks one up from them and passes it on to me at his cost, no mark up, just I could have my flywheel done when I walk out the door!! It's that kind of service that keeps me coming back to their shop........
