No reason for a twin stick on the L/C transfercase. You cannot get the front wheel drive only that the other cases that made the twin sticks popular can get.

As for 2-lo that is easy. Just dont use the gate that keeps you from getting into 2-lo. There are links outthere(ih8mud.com) to see what can be done with the stock t-case shifter and the sm420/465...

Yep, Charlie Glabe's write up is very good, and he has a diagram with dimensions!!

What? MORE Venezuelans on this list? Jeez, doesn't the administrator monitor who joins? Aren't there any filters or something??? :flipoff2:

Hey dude!

Thanks for the plug!

Anyway, just use the stock shifter and don't put the "gate" in there that keeps you from going to 2LOW.

Waste of time doing a twin stick on a Cruiser case in my opinion.

Get that junk together so we can wheel!

Will you be in Gilmer on the 19th?

Sean (MD11Fr8Dog) has a linkage set up that he may want to part with since he can't use it any more with that ToyBox in between. :D

If he doesn't want to give it up, PM me and I'll see if I can dig one up.

I'm actually going to try to modify the one you sent me Charlie once I get my drivetrain dropped in later this month! If it looks like I can't make it work, it'll certainly be up for grabs - for same price you charged + shipping, of course!!;) :D

thank you
Thanks for all the responses. What I wanted to do was raise the coolness factor in the cruiser. Seeing as I have a Ranger od and both my tranny and t-case sticks I thought it would of looked really cool with another one. That would be four sticks. Duhh!!

Maybe i'll paint them different colors and look like the traveling rock clown. 60 seriesguy idea. I'm surprised that they actually let a guy like him go thru these filters. Maybe it is all the cruiser knowledge. I say we let THAT Venezuelan thru.

It's all his fault. What started out as a simple clutch job, has turned out to be a full flat out SO with 60 axles, new crate motor and the works.
Right know we are doing the tranny part. This winter will be the SO. God knows what next.

Thanks again
Alex

I already have what your looking to do, I just fabed a set of shifters from a h**P Dana 18 (I think) and have the four shifters poking outa my floor. I like the twin stick makes it real easy to shift out of front wheel drive, longer shifter= more leverage, and it has a high cool factor.
