It could be the .gov selling this stuff, waiting a few weeks, then making a visit to the buyer.

Because we live in a free country, that's why.

You cannot install the "happy parts" into a semi AR lower without stuffing your lower in a milling machine first.

I was under the impression that anyone could buy that. If you have an AR with 3rd gear you still have to be able to get replacement parts. You simply cannot install it in any old AR unless you do your paperwork. Correct?

Having full-auto parts has never been illegal. However, if you have a receiver to install them that doesn't have the necessary paperwork included, that's where the problems begin.

I can't tell you how many AK sears and full-auto disconnectors I've welded up into metal art over the years...

That HK housing won't fit into any non-push pin civilian HK94, HK9X weapon, SP89, etc.

Just like how an AK auto sear and "real" M16 family auto sear won't fit into a civilian AK or AR15.

IIRC, some older Colts are "drop in autosear" guns.

Sure, as in you can use a "drop in auto sear" which is a retrofit device designed to allow a neutered semi only rifle as a full auto. Hence why DIAS devices are regulated.

You still can't put a real M16 auto sear in one of those without bitchslapping the receiver with a mill.

Ohh!! Ohh!!! But then there's that pesky sheet-metal thing called a LIGHTNING LINK*!! :flipoff2:

And yes, I know, it's regulated as well.
