I just picked up a Mossberg 42B. Its missing the mag. Ive located a mag for it. My question is how does the mag attach? The rifle dont have a latch/catch or anything. Ive searched the net and cant find a part or a good pic of that area. Does anyone have experince with this rifle? Thanks.

If you look at an exploded view of the rifle, you will see an L shaped "bracket" forward of the trigger, this actually slides inside of the mag which has the release built in.

Ok. I believe my rifle does have that bracket. Ill order a mag and hope for the best. Heck ill have to pay more for the mag then i did for the rifle.
