Sorry if this has been posted before but I did search... :flipoff2:

I figured if anyone would know this, y'all would.

I just got my Atlas 4.3 today; was reading through the manual and it states pretty clearly that the upgraded 32 spline front output is easily identifiable by the blue ring... I sure as hell didn't pay for the upgrade (couldn't afford it... :( I was lucky to find this one for $2K) but my Atlas has that ring...

Did something change or should I just consider myself one lucky bastid?

Thanks

If you Atlas was ORDERED in September you got the upgrade without asking. Your case has the upgrade...now smile:flipoff2:

BTW: Mine was ordered on the 28th of August....no upgrade:mad:

yep the blue anodized ring means it is a 32 spliner. i had to pay for mine. what i don't usder stand is why make it an option? i think they should all be the upgraded front output. i couldn't see spending that much $$$ and not going ahead and getting it to make sure it was as beefy as possible. anyway....

Just a guess but maybe they are now being made with only the 32 spline and charged extra to change the existing stock of smaller shafts until they were gone.

Step one: SEARCH:flipoff2:
Step two: Search using "atlas and auto" in the Jeep section.
Coachgo's thread will come up. Good info on a FAWKED install.

I just got done setting up my shifters. Really simple. Just get them as close to parallel with the tower as possible. Do it before the Atlas is under the rig.
Enjoy,
