I have a 2000 dodge 3500 4x4 deseil 5 speed standard. I'm having a problem at crusing spee 45-60 with it surging. It's like i'm letting off the gas a little and back on it a little over and over again. Can anyone give me some advice?

Check the fuel pressure at the filter. The stock lifter pump is probably about to go. If that happens, you'll then lose your injecter pump. Then get ready for about a $1500 bill to fix it.

Do you have any programmer/box on it? Depending on what tune I have in my adrenaline it will surge like that at times.

have a bd deseil lift pump on it for about a year now and a diablo power puck thats been on it for about 9 years so i dont think those are the problem but i will check pressure.

could be a faulty APPS (aka Throttle position sensor)

if the voltage is varying it could make the truck surge like you are describing

Mine does it when I put my power puck on the higher setting. I can hear it through my exhaust more than I can feel it. Try putting it on the stock setting setting and see if you still feel it.

had a buddys doing the same thing. Had low pressure at the filter. Change the lift pump out it done fine for a few months. Then it started again dropped tank to find the sock filter was covered over. Changed it out and cleaned tank good again.
