I know this is short notice, but I and my Bro-n-law are going to run the creek at Frank Raines park this Sunday. Time to Frank Raines is about 1.5 hours from 580/680, 2.5 from Sac and 2 from San Jose, maybe less if you head over Mt Hamilton. Park is located 17 miles west of Patterson on Hwy 130 / Del Puerto Rd. We will be meeting at the Gas station on Vasco rd just off 580 between 8:30 and 9:00. Let me know if you are going to make, or need more directions.

Some of the Nissan guys I wheel with went out there 2 weekends ago and the park was closed due to that fire they had. I'm guessing it's all open now, but perhaps the park is a little 'darker' in color from the -fire!

Follow Up
Sunday we made it out to Frank Raines, had a blast F**n around in the creek bed. My new EZ-Won't-Loc-Anymore gave me some problems, possible install problem (what spacers )Spent most of the day waiting for Josh C to fix his clutch, 10 or more times. We never found the end of the creek bed, but a decent run for all types of rigs. Not a hardcore trial, but could present a challenge if you went for harder lines. The park was not involved in the fire and was open. We only had four hours to play, Josh C had the whip crack on him, and he was tired of fixing his clutch, puttn me into rocks, and chunkn knobs off his new 35's. Does anyone know if the creek bed run has an end with a return trail?
