TERRA-IZER 10-31-2001, 08:31 PM Super Scout in Ohio sells them, i don't like Triangle springs they ride ruff and sag pretty early. I like Skyjacker softrides, i have ran 2 sets on 2 differnet trucks and never had any problems with them and they ride and flex great. I just got a used set of Superlift 4" springs and installed them on my 1980 scout diesel tonight, i hope i have as good luck with them as the Skyjackers
somedumbkid 10-31-2001, 08:46 PM thank you for your help

HUMMMMMM I have Skyjackers and wish I had Triangles! The new Triangle front springs are much better than the old style. How old are yours

Sounds like Terra-izer has better luck with Skyjacker than I did.
I installed my SJ 4" kit.. and the rear never sagged - it just never lifted!
I measured 'before" with the hardtop on, and "after" with the top off.. and netted a whopping 2" of lift from my "four inch" rear springs. The fronts were 3.5/4"..
I tossed the SJ rears into my parts pile and went SOA in the rear with stock springs.
http://www.SuperScoutSpecialists.com sells the Triangle 4" lift.
If I buy another spring-lift, that's the route I'm taking.
makkat 10-31-2001, 10:06 PM I have to agree with Terra-izer. I am on my second set of the "new" Triangle springs and they are sagging just as bad as the first set. If I take the shackle bar off one of the shackles or the other will fall flat against the frame. I might do a RS and adjust so the flexy springs will work, but I will probably just ado a SOA instead.

That's what happens when you own a Heep too long.
diamonddave 11-08-2001, 09:37 PM I put a set of Triangles on my Scout back in February. I haven't noticed a bit of sag since I put them on. They do ride a little rough, but I think that can be fixed with a longer set of shocks. I think that the Rancho 5000's that I got from Summitt are too short. I'm not sure what I'm going to try this time, but deffinitly something different and a little longer. All in all though, I'm very happy with the lift, it was some of the best money I've spent on the truck, it really makes a world of difference.
