Ok, so I feel like an idiot. I swapped in the D44. Went SOA with RE 1.5 springs. Both knuckles are flat top. I'm looking at where the springs are and where the knuckles are and it looks like the drag link will clear the springs on the way to the passenger side knuckle, but it looks pretty tough to get the tie rod from high steer arm to high steer arm without hitting the springs.

I haven't purchased any high steer arms or other steering components until this is figured out.

I DON'T WANT TO RUN MY TIE ROD from the stock location to the stock location on the knuckles, I really want to make the high steer work. I'm sure some of you have been here...can you offer some advice?

you gotta run a "thick" arm or a spacer under your high steer arm.

dirtbikeboy, did you have to shorten the front 44? is that a ford hp 44? I am building one right now and can't decide if I want to shorten it or not. If you did shorten it, how much?

sorry to high jack. dirtbike's setup is what I'm looking at for mine. chevy knuckles with 1 high steer arm for drag link. tie rod will be under the springs.
