'91 Cr250, got it in good condition for $400 <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> Hadn't been ridden in 4 years. Caught up the maintenance, did a little welding on the subframe, got a new fatty for her and some sprockets, a chain and she was good as new <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> Runs like a champ except I blew the rear shock seal.......so it's a bouncy ride. Picked up an '86 Rm80 for my gf for $200. Needed a clutch and new spokes on the rear wheel, but otherwise good.

I just get rid of my bike and you set this up figures.Well I traded my 82 PE400 with a spare 250 engine and tons of parts for 2 sm420's.My buddy went over it and did a bunch of work to it and ended up putting the 250 engine in.Apparantly you can't get any 400 parts any more.Does anybody here want to prove the bike shops wrong?It needs an oversize piston and ring set.Maybe you can locate them down south for me.TIA.Oh I had an 84xr650,84CR480,83PE250,82PE400,and an 83RZ350.Rode several other cool 2 stroke street bikes too.My Favorite was the Walter Wolfe RG500 racing edition.Hella fast and fun.

I used to ride an '89 Suzuki GS500E 'til i got crunched by a drunk driver.
I would have loved to upgrade to the SV650 that 864runner posted a pic of, gotta love that blue.
But now, right arm is screwed, so i gots to get something that still moves and feels like a bike, that i can ride/pilot with my left arm only.
There was this concept thing that Mercedes was working on. It looked like a jet cockpit with 3 wheels. The one rear wheel was the power wheel, had an 1100cc bike engine, and the front 2 wheels were used to steer.
The coolest part was that the front 2 wheels had this crazy suspension set up so that the whole rig would lean into turns, up to 30 degrees.
So, when they start makin those, i think i might get one.
Oh, if you can't tell, i still love bikes!!!
