Built a cage for a K5 this last weekend for a guy so he could make it out to TDS. Its all 2" with some 1.75" bracing.

I like the a pillar tie ins, but would still prefer a windshield bar as well myself. The light bar is cool, but the roof line and b-pillar angles look just off? Seems high in the rear, and the b-pillar is angled forward?
Might just be the angle, but it looks off.

Nice Job, The integrated boatside and door is a nice touch, that light bar reminds me of spare tire cage!
x2 on the windshield brace
what is planed for the bazooka tubes out the back side?

Thanks.
The truck is coming back for more work after TDS to tie the front of the truck to the cage. The plan is to take the windshield out and run a tube behind the dash. Just ran out of time. Did the all the work in about 14 hrs. on a Saturday. He still needed to change out the clutch and get the motor running right before the trip. The back tube were left long because he wanted to be able to put a trap/roof on if the sun got too bad. Most of the time I try to cap the tubes off about .5" past the tube intersection with some solid stock I cut down to slid into the tube about an inch then weld. The angles of the cab are off a little because the whole floor board was cut out and re-welded so the cab was not square at all compared to the frame or anything else. We got the truck that way so we kinda just built it as close as possible then kept the top tubes all on the same plane for strength.
