I have a 90 yj with a 4 banger and 5-speed, I have a 91 xj I-6 fuel injected motor with a automatic that i want to put in the yj, I can go back with a auto tranny or a 5-speed "i dont care its a street jeep", I have the whole xj "parts truck" I feel like converting all the efi is a little over my head, what are my options, can I put a intake and carb on the efi motor and go back old school? is transfering the efi and harness that big of a deal? please point me in the right direction!!!

Go with the EFI,, don't waste your time trying to get a carb to work on it. All you need is a wiring harness.

I have all the harness, I guess, I have the whole complete xj, drove it into my shop, I dont know what or how much of the harness I need to transfer or what all i need, thats why i though it might be easier to go back to a carb

If you're scared of the wiring put on some depends while you do it. Seriously though, just do it. It's not hard. You have all the parts.
