Toddy 10-09-2002, 08:30 PM I am looking at trading for a 5.0 form a 88 lincoln cont. Is this a good engine? Anybody know some numbers on it as far as HP and torque. And what tranny would be behind it in this car? Thnaks for any help you can offer. Todd shons b2 10-10-2002, 12:18 PM i just got an 88 5.0 from a bronco.i believe chiltons rates it at 200-220 hp and 190-235 ft lbs tq. i know the numbers are broad but i don't feel like digging up the info. it will probably be speed density. sd is ok as long as you don't go crazy with the cam. sd need manifold vacuum. check out www.50tech.com for all your sd info. shon | |
