JUST BOUGHT THE BIKE, THE RATIO IN THE MANUAL SAYS 30:1 BUT IT SEEMS TO RICH. ANYBODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS. IM USED TO MIXING 45:1 IN MY OLD BIKES

if its brand new and your still breaking it in then run it rich. otherwise id do 32:1 or 36:1

I always run 16oz. for 5gal. so about 40:1.

You do NOT want to run rich when breaking in a new motor, do you want the rings to gum up??

It's the same as when assembling a top end on a 2-stroke... Do not soak the piston and rings in oil, it gets enough from the gas/oil mix. It's the same as when a bike sits for a while, you don't pour oil in the cyclinder it gets lubed from the gas/oil.
