Motornoggin 10-09-2002, 09:50 PM This has probably been covered but here goes. I want to buy a 94-98 Ram 2500 Quad Cab Short Box 4x4 with a Cummins. I thought you could get a short box Cummins, but I don't see any for sale. Did they make this combo? CSP 10-09-2002, 10:11 PM The first year that combo was available was '98. My dad tried to order a '97 with the club cab/shortbed combo and DC denied the order. Even the dealer didn't know it wasn't offered til they got a denial letter from Dodge. Edit: '98 was also the first year of the Quad Cab. They didn't have the rear doors before that. Should do better than the 2001 QC 1500 w/ a 318 I traded in. pcorssmit 10-10-2002, 11:56 AM '94 was std cab only '95-'97 std or club cab '98 first year for short bed 2500, and first year of quad cab (what I really wanted ('98 quad cab long box 12 valve), but hard to find. 24 Valve started Jan '98.
