Ok, so I got it off so I could rebuild it and install longfields. Now when I have the new bearings in I try to slide it back on and it just trys to push out the top bearing and not go over it. I used the camo method of removing the knuckle and searched for this question and found nothing. Its already trashed a new bearing trying to get this thing on so Im using the old one now. Any help would be great on this. Thanks.

Just a few suggestions if this is what i think it is. You may want to make sure you have the spindle off the knuckle and the axle shaft out when you do this. I am assuming you are replacing the knuckle bearings. First make sure all of the races are fully seated before dropping in the bearings. I recall having to put mine on with both the bottom knuckle plate off and top steering arm off. With the bottom and top plates off you should have more room to slide the knuckle over. Once you get the knuckle over and bottom plate back on then steering arm back on, you should be able to slide the shaft back in from the end before putting the spindle back on. I know it is possible to take the knuckle off and on by taking only the steering arm off but there is very little room to play with unless you take the bottom knuckle plate off as well. So long as you use the same number of shims. Good luck.

Remove the bottom cap, and hook the top on first and the bottom will slide right on. Re-install the bottom cap loosely and then install the steering arm.
