Yesterday I took my Jeep out and as soon as I got the front tires up against a wall it would not move. The engine was running with no issues but the wheels where not turning. The transfer case was in 4 low and the transmission was in drive. I shifted it into 1st but still no moving. It seemed that if there was not much resistance then it worked fine but as soon as it bond up no tires would turn.


I think the transmission is the issue.

I know it's almost too basic, no offense tho, just trying to get the ball rolling.. I've seen umpteen "bad trannys" work after a quick change of fluids

Just continuing what Fudpucker is saying: u checked the t-case fluid? No offense either.

Check the tranny fluid in neutral.
