Friday is tech, Saturday is the main event. I will be there for photos on Saturday, but due to a lack of funds I won't be able to compete this time.

Trying to raise money to go to JV next weekend, anyone want to buy a set of used 38" Swampers?

Hell let the hecklin begin right now!

Team Purple has a new threat to worry about, Jon will be there in his new VW powered rig. I won't be able to do it myself but I think Team All Pro will keep the pressure on Team Purple!

Doug Meyer's from the Outdoor Channel is really looking forward to seeing the new rig that Jon Bundrant will be driving. Team All Pro is bound to give us a good show. Chris, are you spotting? Jon did not list a spotter as of yet.

As for the rest of you.

We have national media coverage coming to feed your egos and we still have spaces available in all three classes. I am shocked

You stock drivers out there that don't think you are at "that caliber" for competition, give it a try. Those rigs of yours can do more than you think!

We have over $2500 in prizes for the stock class. Check out these sponsors...

Mickey Thompson, Advance Adapters, ARB USA, Off Road General Store,Tom Wood’s Custom Drive Shafts, Safari Gard, J.E. Reel, CTM Racing and Genuine Steel

Maybe some of you will step up to the plate. :)

No I will be just getting pictures.

Jon's plan is to not run a spotter at all. His truck is simply so fast that a spotter is just gets in the way. The spotter just becomes one more thing to have to drive over!

You know that I like to let my driving and past performance talk for me, BUT, its a good thing that Chris won't be their with his rig because as far as I understand there wont be a tractor there to lift him off the track twice...,
as far as Johns new rig can't wait to see it run, But I due have one thing to say (GOT CLEARANCE).

Lets get it...:flipoff2:

You can do it. My wife is going to compete on the modified class. She has very little seat time on the rig we are taking, and this will be her first time wearing a helmet. :p

Great remarks JP Junkie. I am looking forward to seeing a woman in the drivers seat! We have two other women driving in the competition, one in stock and one in pro.

Tell your wife good luck and clean driving is better than fast driving.

It's going to be a great event!

I still have this nice first place trophy sitting here on my desk from the last CRCA event, where your purple parts were littered all over the trail! I may have been lifted out but at least I came out in one piece with my axles still intacted!

BTW I drove off the track under my own power on the second run.

Are we getting the $hit talking going now or what!

That alright Chris, I will let you have that first place trophy from CRCA. We have the track record. But yes you did win (due to a dana 30 breaking) But you have seen first hand (dash for cash, and Placerville ) that the dana 30 is no longer an issue.

I wish you were going to be able to play, but o-well.

It looks like You lost the wager we made with the guys at All-Pro when they were bragging about your new buggy.

shaken not stirred..... I think the hornets nest is starting to come alive.... This aint nothin yet wait till fri. night when the boonsfarm and bon fire gets started. last year bushwaker got ripped and started making side bets. hey team purple I hope I did better this time I highly doubt you will run it in 2mins 32 seconds this time. and since it is only about 12 hours untill you can see the course I will dish out this info on the pro course.............You where so excited about the idea of a waterfall I added one in at the finish line. allthough this one is a downer ......... speaking of verticals Chris Durham came up with an optional entry to the pro course to give you a bonus,,,,,,,,whoooopppppsss Ive said tooo much:D
Sorry guys no crane (nice touch Rich)But you Know what they say. GIIIIIIIITTTTTTTT IIIITTTTTTT

Wager? I did not hear about that one, you have to tell me about that one sometime. Actually I had all ready told Jess who the top three were going to be and I told him you were going to win it! Maybe next time he will listen.

That CRCA run was an impressive too, about 2 minutes less than my best run. I was sure you were going to win that one.

I am going to try to get into the put up or shut up event in JV on the 3-5 of Jan, hope we can continue this then!

I just got back from dropping off my Jeep at the CRCA event. Cathy Crook will drive it in the Pro Class and after seeing the course, I may be picking it up in pieces Sunday morning...THAT COURSE IS CRAZY!
Jon's running w/o a spotter??? ON THAT COURSE!!! That VW was great in Farmington, but w/o a spotter, his run will be real interesting...quite possibly, real short as well.
All I can say is good luck to all of the Pros...that last downhill and out should be interesting. I guess we have Chris Durham to thank for that one as he was the one that went over there to give suggestions on the course layout.
As for the Stock course and modified course, they will be a ton of fun. I am bummed I won't be there.
Thanks to the Knoll's for puttin on what looks like another great and exciting event.

Just got back, Ande should be posting some pics before too long. None of the pro's completed the course, only 3 made it out of the first canyon, 1 by about 10 feet, Team Purple made it around to the top of the exit, and Jon made it to the bottom of the exit. At least 5-6 axle shafts in the first canyon, a coilover, and a couple of locating links. Simply freakin INSANE :D :D . And that was all first run for them, didn't stay for second run.

So Ande, where the hell are the pictures? And don't forget the "scenery" pics, too! ;)

Those of you that left, YOU SHOULD HAVE STAYED. Our events go LATE! Next time you'll be ready. Team Purple( Tomb Raider) finished the entire pro course in 7:45.? An outstanding show for the spectators and confirmation to us that the course was doable!!

It just took the whole day to figure out the best game plan. Special thanks to all the competitors that came out yesterday!! I know you Pros got beat up pretty bad, but I do hope you had a good time and will be back for more in January!

Our next event is January 11th!! Check the website out for more information. Give me a couple of days to get it updated though.

Team Extreme Image, Team All Pro and Team Purple, thanks for doing Carnage Canyon again and doing it with STYLE!!

The Finals ROCKED- team purple put on a show and made the course look easy. The craftsman wrenches that were welded on the broken link of the All-pro buggy broke right after carnage canyon ending the All pro final run. I got tons of pics that I'm downloading right now and should be posting in a bit.

Those CRCA days were good times.
