I guess what I'm askin is, can I bolt a 71 gm truck th350 into my 1980 blazer? I was told they are all the same, but I'm sure some are different. Shaggy tRusty 10-09-2002, 11:21 PM GM had trouble with the earlier TH350's cracking the bell housings so in the later years they came out with the 'K' case TH350. The material is thicker in the bell area to help prevent cracking. ID'ing the 'K' case TH350 is pretty easy...there's a large 'K' cast into the bell area:D Aside from that the spline count should be the same...27 spline.
