I am going to paint my heap with Durabak (tired of buffing and waxing it ;) ) and was going to just roll it on at first but now I am thinking of spraying it on. Anyone done this? What size tip do I need? Any other tips, hints, trivia or recipes? Thanks.

ten parts vodka\one juice.......ohh sorry you mean paint. I heard it's really thick and a pain to spray, so my advice, buy the cheapest gun you can find and have at it. :D

use an undercoating gun ,harbor frieght sells them, i had to slightly thin mine with xylene to get it to spray in the pattern i liked, put a small cheap regulator (also harbor frieght) to control the amount. and mask EVERYTHING you dont want the shat on

I also used the undercoating gun from Harbor freight. It was like $6.99

worked great! Didn't have to thin at all...........but the gun does kinda shoot it all over the place

I did a Blazer I had inside and out. On the outside I used red Hurculiner since it was red to begin with. I think the Duraback is Herculiner with UV protectant in it. It's really soft and flexible, I caved my door in and just kicked it back out and it didn't crack. But mud stained it really easy and was a pain to keep clean. I just rolled and painted it on and it worked really well. If you spray it make sure you cover everything within a 100 feet.. It stcks to everything, including your skin. Careful and clean your hands before taking a piss  or you have a hurculined wanker for a week . I would also make sure it's above 70F, below that it takes days to cure and it will run on you. I'm doing the inside of my heep this winter when I put my cage in. But I think the next paint the ouside of my heep will see is black primer.
