: Put-up or Shut-up venue and date change
Big Rich 10-10-2002, 10:34 AM Just got word from the Irrigation district that Camp Far West is part of:( and the news was not good. They can not give us an ok at this time for the event to be held during the time frame we wished.
But the good news is we are still going to have the event, the Barstow office of the BLM is welcoming us, but we do need to change the weekend.
So here it is......the new date and venue
January 3-5 2003
Johnson Valley
I'll be making the changes in the sign up sheets and sending them out to those who wish them.
The other good part of doing this event at JV is....we can have a bigger field, so the first 40 to sign up are in.

Mustard Dog 10-10-2002, 11:32 AM When I talked to Mike Ahrons of the Barstow BLM office yesterday I asked him about permits being granted for rock crawling events. He said the BLM was VERY happy with the RCAA, and permits were NEVER in danger of being denied for upcoming events ;)
